Eikehof is not a venue in the traditional sense. It is a working farm and heritage home that offers a setting for intimate weddings shaped by meaning, restraint, and care. Celebrations here are unhurried, deeply personal, and grounded in place. Set at the foot of Olifantsberg, the farm provides a natural backdrop of gardens, water, and wide skies. Ceremonies take place outdoors whenever possible, with the land and light guiding the shape of the day.
Nothing is overly styled. Nothing feels imposed. The beauty lies in what is already here.
Weddings at Eikehof are intentionally small and thoughtfully considered. Rather than scale, the focus is on connection — a few chosen people, time to be together, and space for moments to unfold naturally. Each celebration is approached with respect for the farm, its rhythms, and its quiet character.

Is there a restaurant on site?
While we do not have a restaurant or wedding catering on site we have a recently renovated catering kitchen available to all outside caterers. The kitchen, located in the Manor House runs on solar to ensure a seamless wedding day without the disruptions of load shedding. Upon request we can provide a list of our recommended caterers and vendors.
What is included in your wedding packages?
We offer two night, three night or elopement packages, accommodations for up to 16 of your closest friends and family members, and the venue hire fee is included. Please refer to our wedding package for a more detailed list of inclusions.
How far are you from Cape Town?
Eikehof is conveniently located just 90 minutes from Cape Town in the Breede River Valley. The drive is absolutely stunning!
Are there additional guest accommodations in the area?
The Breede River Valley is full of guest farms, in our package PDF (available for download here) we provide an extensive list of additional accommodations in the area to be shared with your wedding guests. Also included are the names of two shuttle services.
Do you require a damage deposit?
Yes, a damage deposit of R50,000 is required at the time of booking. This amount will be refunded in full within 5-10 days after check out assuming no damages occur.
Is a wedding planner mandatory?
How many guests can eikehof cater to?
Eikehof is a boutique venue ideally suited for more intimate weddings and events for 80 guests. Going beyond this number is not recommended and is subject to a surcharge.
Do you have an indoor space in case of inclement weather?
We have a beautifully renovated new barn that can be used for an additional fee, best suited for more intimate groups of 40 or less.
Where do you host the ceremony and reception?
